Sweet Memory in Ramadan with My Late Father

 

I want to share a story, a sweet story, from my late father about my Ramadan experience when I was a child.

I and my father usually waited Adzan Maghrib with chit chat and watching television, and there was a habit from us when we were waiting for ifthar time and Adzan Maghrib, we usually switched the channel from Metro TV, his favorite news channel, to TVRI Jabar to hear Adzan Maghrib for Bandung Region.

The uniqueness from TVRI Jabar was the channel only had several commercial advertisement from several products, one of them was "Susu Bantal", and the commercial advertisement had the same order because as a local TV, it had just a few commercial advertisement with the same order in the same time.

So when the time to Adzan Maghrib was just in several minutes, my father or me, would switched the TV channel from Metro TV to TVRI Jabar, and we would guess what was the commercial advertisement appeared in the time we switched the channel, because what I said before the advertisement was just a few and had the same order. It was a simple game whose my father and I did together.

We would laugh together if our guessing was right. A sweet and simple memory with my late father in Ramadan Moment ☺️☺️❤️ Al-Fatihah for Him..
