Documentation of Three Projects In Collaboration with International Partners at the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems Studies, Faculty of Agriculture, UNPAD

Since August 2025, I have been joining some projects with Mrs. Sara Ratna Qanti and Mr. Ronnie Susman Natawidjaja at the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems Studies, Faculty of Agriculture, UNPAD in collaboration with some International Partners which were Ibaraki University, Japan, Adelaide University, Australia, and Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands. It's has been almost 8 months, and all of the projects has been done, and I am waiting for the upcoming projects with Mrs. Sara.

For a portfolio and keeping the memories, I want to share some documentation from the three projects which were entitled "Enhancing Agricultural Traceability for Market Sustainability: A Southeast Asian Perspective" in collaboration with the University of Adelaide, Australia, "Assessing food poverty through the lens of distribution: The case of modernizing agricultural value chains in Indonesia" in collaboration with Ibaraki University, Japan and "Model Peningkatan Peran Perempuan dan Ekosistem Simpul Pangan untuk Mendukung Program Makan Bergizi Gratis Berbasis Pangan Lokal" in collaboration with Wageningen University and Research (WUR), the Netherlands and BAPPERIDA Kabupaten Bandung. Dalam seminggu terakhir terjadi dinamika kebijakan perdagangan AS, yang akan berdampak pada Indonesia sehingga perlu direspon dan diantisipasi. Pada Agreement on Reciprocal Trade (ART) Indonesia dan AS tanggal 19 Februari 2026, eliminasi tarif AS atas 1.819 produk Indonesia diharapkan meningkatkan ekspor ke AS. Meskipun demikian, Indonesia juga harus melakukan penghapusan tarif hingga nol persen untuk 99% produk AS.

Saya akan mencoba membedah secara mendalam naskah "Agreement Between the United States of America and the Republic of Indonesia on Reciprocal Trade" (US-IDN ART) yang baru saja dipublikasikan. Sebagai seseorang yang berfokus pada ekonomi pertanian, mengurai dokumen perdagangan internasional yang mengikat secara hukum ini sangat esensial untuk memahami prospek dari ekonomi makro kita. Perjanjian perdagangan resiprokal semacam ini pada dasarnya dirancang untuk mengurangi friksi pasar struktural dan secara definitif memperluas akses timbal balik, sehingga menciptakan keseimbangan makroekonomi baru bagi kedua negara yang berpartisipasi (Krugman, Obstfeld, & Melitz, 2018).
